why rice bran oil
The typical composition of crude rice
bran oil is 81.3-84.3% triglycerides, 2-3% diglycerides, 5-6% monoglycerides,
2-3% free fatty acids, 0.3% waxes, 0.8% glycolipids, 1.6% phospholipids,
4% unsaponifiables. In comparison with other vegetable oils, crude
rice bran oil tends to contain higher levels of non-triglyceride components,
most of which are removed during further refining processes. The free
fatty acids, monoglycerides and diglycerides in rice bran oil are
associated with enzymatic hydrolysis. The phospholispids predominantly
include phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanaolamine, and phosphatidylinositol.
The wax content of rice bran oil can be somewhat variable, depending
upon cultivar and processing parameters. Various sterols constitute
the principal portion of the unsaponifiable fraction of nutraceutical
interest. In recent years, many studies have been conducted in the
area of utilization of these minor components as co-products of rice
bran oil processing.
Table 1 compares the fatty-acid composition of rice bran oil with
that of peanut, soybean, and cottonseed oils.

Oleic and linoleic fatty acids constitute more than 80% of the fatty acids of the glycerides. Rice bran oil is similar to peanut oil in fatty acid composition with a saturation level that is slightly higher than that of conventional soybean oil. The much lower linolenic acid content of rice bran oil makes it more stable to oxidation than soy oil. The quality characteristics of properly refined rice bran oil include a maximum free fatty acid levels (as oleic acid) of 0.1%, a maximum peroxide value of 1.0 meq/kg, 0.05% moisture, an iodine value of 99–108, saponification value of 180-195, and a Lovibond color value of 3.5R. Appearance of rice bran oil ranges from cloudy to clear depending on the degree of dewaxing and winterization processes applied. |

RICE BRAN OIL
 for
food use has been commercially produced in the United States by RITO
since 1994. Despite its similarities to other common vegetable oils,
rice bran oil offers several unique properties that make it very interesting
as a specialty oil in niche markets. It has a very appealing nut-like
flavor and once extracted is very stable with good fry-life. But perhaps
its most notable feature is its high level of components with nutraceutical
value such as gamma-oryzanol and tocotrienols.
The structure of the rice kernel is illustrated in Fig.1. The bran
fraction, which includes the germ or embryo in most commercial milling
operations, represents only about 8% of paddy weight but contains
about three-fourths of the total oil (Juliano and Bechtel, 1985;
Lu and Luh, 1991). Containing about 15-20% oil (the same general
range of soybeans), rice bran is commercially feasible for oil extraction.

ACCIDENTAL DEATH BENEFIT
|
Any distributor who does a purchase of RCM products worth Rs. 1000/- or more per month regularly and if he accidentally dies then his nominee gets * Rs. 2 lacs amount as accidental death benefit. This eligibility will be effective after completing 3 months of regular purchase. The purchase should be regular in order to continue this eligibility. If the purchase discontinues then the purchase of 1000/- or more per month can be started again and after completion of 3 months of regular purchase, the distributor again becomes eligible for the accidental death benefit. In case of accidental death, the necessary documents should be produced. |

PROMOTIONAL AMOUNT

Purchase Promotional Amount Distributors who will purchase of Rs. 1000/- or more per month will be paid monthly promotional amount. Under this, 4% of the company’s total purchase turnover (after deducting amount given in accidental death benefit) will be distributed through lucky draw. 1 % out of 4% will be kept for 11,000/- draw, 1% will be kept for 5000/- draw and remaining 2% will be kept for 1000/- draw. Distributor who will regularly do a monthly purchase of 1000/- or more till three months, their names will be added to the draw and their name will remain in the draw till the time they will continue their purchase of 1000/- or more monthly. Every 1000/- regular purchase will be considered one eligibility and if more regular purchases are done then the eligibility will increase in the multiple of 1000/-. For Example: - Rs. 1000/- purchase gets 1 entry Rs. 2000/- purchase gets 2 entries and so on The distributors who have already entered the loyalty club, even if their per month purchase amount is 1000/- the eligibility will be counted on the basis of entries already made. Performance Promotional Amount 1% of the company’s total turnover will be distributed as Performance Promotional Amount and the amount will be distributed on the basis of average of points. Currently, this amount will be distributed from Star pin to Pearl pin achievers and points will be calculated to achieve maximum Emerald Pin. The calculation of points from star pin to pearl pin will be done as follows. The pin achieved till may 2011 will be considered for calculation.
Note: -
The benefit of Yearly promotional benefit in future will be given to only those distributors who have entered the loyalty club already and after entry they are regularly doing a purchase of Rs. 1000/- or more monthly and those whose 12 months are not completed till yet, their yearly promotional benefit will be paid on the basis of their earned points till May 2011. This amount will be paid in that month in which their entry in loyalty club completes 12 months. For this eligibility, they will have to continue a monthly purchase of Rs. 1000/- or more during this tenure. In case the purchase goes down from 1000/- in any month then the eligibility of that particular distributor will be revoked. |

ELIGIBILITY OF TECHNICAL BONUS For the eligibility of the technical level, the distributor has to stay for two months on any royalty level. After that for a month he has to maintain a 6% royalty level. After that, he has to achieve a business of more than Rs. 5 Lacs in each of the two legs in one month. This target of 4 months should be accomplished within the span of 6 months. If this somehow doesn’t get achieved, then whenever these 4 targets are achieved in whichever duration of six months, the technical bonus shall be awarded to the distributor. |
